Group or quiet time visits

Primary's gallery spaces are large and on a regular open day they are uncrowded. Staff can provide extra ventilation through opening windows on request. We will be happy to let visitors know expected numbers for public events.

If you would like to make a group booking or visit our exhibitions at a quiet time please contact us on admin@weareprimary.org or 0115 924 4493 to arrange.

Reading Room

Our Reading Room area is a space to relax, reflect and explore publications and audio-visual materials from Primary’s archive and current exhibitions. Please feel free to take a drink into the space, meet friends there, or spend time browsing the library of publications and audio material on display. The screen in this area will display the show-reel from our exhibition in our first floor gallery, for anyone who cannot access the upstairs space.
