Social Practice Social: Harun Morrison

  • Primary 33 Seely Road Nottingham, England, NG7 United Kingdom (map)

Social Practice Social is a monthly peer support group for artists, programmers, community organisers, activists, and others working with participation, collaboration, public space, or social change.

In October, artist and writer Harun Morrison will share his current work on a variety of community gardens in Sheffield, Liverpool and London. He will discuss this in relation to permaculture and ecology. He will also touch on his current exhibition Dolphin Head Mountain, in the Natural History Gallery at the Horniman Museum in South London. Finally, Harun will share excerpts of his video work, Welcome To Epping Forest (2022), that documents an area of land next adjacent to his studio in East London as an ever-shifting protagonist.

After Harun has shared his work and there will be time for questions and discussion. Refreshment provided.
