Kaleidoscope Workshop: Nurturing Creativity | Embedding Rest and Care in Artistic Practice

When: Wednesday 11 October, 6-8.30PM
Where: Online, via Zoom
Who: Primary and Kaleidoscope Network Members only
Booking: Advance booking is essential. Book here.

You're invited to a workshop by Roseanna Dias, where you can learn about incorporating rest and care practices into your creative work. This workshop will discuss the importance of self-care and collective care, as well as the broader context in which we seek change. It's an opportunity to explore a variety of perspectives, tools and approaches for nourishment.

During the session, you’ll be invited to reflect individually and with others on these themes. You’ll also be introduced to Roseanna’s work and her business, Studio Susegad (pronounced ‘soo-seh-gaad’). This creative production studio designs tools and spaces to promote care, rest, and connection. The name "Susegad" comes from a Konkani term from Goa, India (where some of Roseanna's family is from), reflecting a slower, more balanced way of living in harmony with nature and human needs.

The UK's cultural sector is reaching a crucial tipping point and is facing imminent burnout* - come together with other creatives and cultural workers to explore regenerative ways of working and resisting in a relaxed workshop setting.
