Now / Black Fellows Opportunity

Primary will be offering mentoring to three MFA Fine Art students as part of the Now / Black Fellows programme at the Nottingham School of Art & Design.

The Now / Black Fellows programme offers a full fee bursary for up to 3 students, who hold an offer on the MFA Fine Art-full time course for September 2022.

The fellowship will be a full tuition fee reduction and a £1,000 cash bursary for materials, awarded at the start of each year of study. If you are awarded a bursary your fee will be adjusted at the point of enrolment.

This unique opportunity to develop your career in Fine Art at NTU will also provide:

  • Mentoring with partner organisations including the Royal College of Art, Forbes Projects, Of Many Circles, and Primary

  • Access to a communal creative workspace in Nottingham

  • Opportunities to explore critical thinking around racial politics in the arts

  • Exhibition opportunities

The fellowship will be awarded to those candidates who most closely meet or exceed the criteria for the award. The scholarship decision is made by an awarding committee and all decisions of that awarding committee are final.
