She has a particular interest in collaborative–working methodologies when responding to projects and spaces, often facilitating participation from audiences, staff, volunteers and artists. Between 2008–2011 she was a Committee Member at Surface Gallery, Nottingham, and contributed to the significant relocation and development of the gallery, including a new education programme, artist studios and a dedicated project space. She wrote the first solo artist-in-residence programme entitled Site&Situ, awarded to Frank Kent and coordinated a number of exhibitions including the first East Midlands Graduate Show, Radiator Festival, Terra-Incognita, and Orchard.
Rebecca is an artist resident at Primary and sits on the Artist Development sub-group, currently establishing a new Artist Development Programme. She joined the Nottingham Studios board in September 2012 and was elected as Chair of the Board in October 2013-2016.
