An experimental artist-led clay space.
Monday evenings 7-9pm (excluding Bank Holidays)
Suitable for people of all experience and none. This is not a conventional pottery class, but the opportunity to handle clay, make, unmake and try things out. Assistance is available. £10 per evening, pay as you go. A small charge is made for materials taken away.
Run on a regular basis, such as Tile-making, Casting and Mould-making, Slumping and Humping, and Agate work.
Introduction to throwing classes in small groups with individual attention are run on demand.
Raku firing sessions are held every 4-6 weeks.
We also offer a kiln firing service and a studio day use rate for artists and makers who need the facilities for a clay-based project.
We are coming to the end of the current series of planned events: we hope to have a stall at the Pop-up Christmas market at Primary and will have leaflets available there about next term’s workshops
