Join Ruth Beale and Mark Boylan to collaboratively explore the connection between empathy, movement and the commons.
Taking the idea that movement is a way to connect, heal and be present, the workshop will ask if it’s possible to translate individual change into something physical and societal/collective.
Drawing on ecstatic dance practices and Movement Medicine, you will be guided in individual and group movement exploring empathy, and being mindful in our environment. This will be followed by a (free) simple meal and conversation.
All welcomed, including absolute beginners and experienced dancers. No special clothes required, although you might prefer loose comfortable clothing and bare feet or soft soled shoes.
Free event, booking essential. To book a place please email: firstname.lastname@example.org
