Join us at Primary for a festive Christmas pop up event of local designers, makers and food producers.
We’re inviting you to our alternative, independent Christmas market to enjoy products from local food producers, bean to bar chocolate and patisserie, as well as homeware, crafts, accessories, cards, natural cosmetics, art and menswear. We’ll have some free children’s activities too to keep the little ones occupied.

FREE FAMILY ACTIVITIES
MAKE YOUR OWN DECORATIONS & DECORATE THE PRIMARY TREE
Cutting, sticking and drawing with colourful card, ribbon and bit and bobs . Children can make their own Christmas decorations to take home or to put the Primary tree to make it riot of colour!
HAVE A GO AT LETTERPRESS
Children are invited to have a go on a vintage 1930′s letterpress machine and see how printing worked in the old days.

SMALL FOOD BAKERY
Small Food Bakery will be providing their usual selection of sourdough, pastries, cake and pizza and lunch snacks as well as a special evening snacks. There will also be local wine from Nottinghamshire vineyard Eglantine. You can also pre-order their Christmas specials and hampers.
Nottinghamshire’s finest patisserie and chocolate, Ottar will bring their fantastic range of handmade chocolates, patisseries, spreads and other delights. Ottar work with the best British ‘bean to bar’ chocolate and only the finest ingredients.
We will be opening our new studio shop to showcase our locally made range of lamps, lampshades, hand pulled screen prints, cushions, letterpress greetings cards, ceramics and art books. We’ll also have a selection prints and original artworks from Primary artists. Get yourself a ‘Lane Friends and Family’ card for 20% off if you live locally.
A local favourite that needs little introduction. Designed in Radford and champions of small scale, quality production, Universal Works bring their stylish menswear and unisex accessories to Primary.
Campbell Cole meticulously designed unisex items that are carried everyday – accessories, bags and wallets – for those who share an appreciation for understated quality. Made close to us in the Midlands with the finest Italian veg tanned leather, Ian Campbell Cole and Felicity Baggett have a beautiful collection of gifts ready for Christmas.
Small batch production skin care from only natural ingredients. Skin Elixir hand makes moisturisers and perfume produced from the finest natural ingredients and made in Nottingham.
Artist and designer Hannah Waldron brings her beautiful selection of accessories, textiles and prints to Primary. Expect to find hand printed scarves, risograph editioned prints and beautifully produced textiles.
CLOVE AND HITCH
Makers of hand-made macrame plant holders and wall hangings made by local artisan Janie Dowling.
Beautifully designed, thoughtful and functional products, Dohm Shop is curated by artist, designer and ceramacist Blue Firth. Expect an exciting range of skincare, accessories, ceramics and delights for yourself and your home.
Line Nilsen is a Norwegian designer who specialises in hand woven textiles and is the newest edition to Primary. Line will be showcasing her crafts with a selection of soft furnishings and accessories that make truly unique gifts.
AUDREY AND ILLYA
A much loved collective of illustrators – Amy Blackwell, Sarah Ormanroyd (also of Small Food Bakery) and Leanne Narewski. A beautiful range of hand made, painted and screen printed accessories, cards, artworks and books, in beautiful colours from three beautiful ladies.
Savoury snacks made from beer balm, a unique ingredient derived from the brewing process. Barmies is a new hand made, baked snack made by local baker Sophie Wood.
Primary’s very own ceramic studio and workshop, ran by artist Christine Stevens, will be selling Christmas vouchers for workshop days and courses. A great gift for anyone who likes to get creative.
