Ebb and Flo Studio based at Primary are now opening their doors to the public, where they will be facilitating a series of screenprint workshops. Each workshop will follow a different theme and utilise varying screen print techniques
The sessions will be lead by experienced printmaker Anthony Godfrey, who has over 12 years experience working in the printmaking department of New College Nottingham. Participants will be guided through processes within photoshop and screenprint to produce an edition of their own hand printed artwork.
This first workshop will be inspired by the ‘Godfather of Screenprint’ Andy Warhol, think multiple Marilyn’s, gunslinger Elvis and Campbell’s soup tins. You can use your own photo or image of choice or one of our stock photos. This could be a portrait, landscape or object, we will then use photoshop to add Warhol effects and make it print ready.
The workshops will be held at Primary contemporary art studios situated in the old Douglas Primary school on Ilkeston Road.
Sunday 11th of October, 10am till 4.30pm
The day will cost £68 and, as spaces are limited, a £20 deposit is required to reserve your place.
All materials and equipment are provided as part of the experience and a delicious 3 course lunch will be prepared and eaten in the Small Food Bakery situated in the school kitchens.
