The Drawing Board: Alice Gale-Feeny
Sharing: Friday 29 May, 19:00
Alice Gale-Feeny will present a series of site-specific works-in-progress that extend the Drawing Board out into the surrounding architecture of Primary. The building and its furnishings are the material used to help question the purpose of bells and their ability to bring about a focus, whilst simultaneously interrupting activity.
The Drawing Board, curated by Michael Pinchbeck, is a space for handwritten performances that aims to turn a corridor into a destination and to return the walls of an old school building in Nottingham to their former use as a place of display. The Drawing Board explores how we write, how we perform writing and how writing performs.
