Simon’s work will be showing as part of the ‘Trent to Trenches’ show at Nottingham Castle Museum and Art Gallery. It will be the 5th in a series of artist commissions for the Castle Café tables, Nottingham-based PRIMARY artist Simon Withers presents his research in to the ceramic ‘crested ware’ tanks made to commemorate the end of the Great War. Inspired by these little ornaments that would have adorned tables and mantelpieces in homes across the country, Simon has re-imagined them for 2014.
Ghost is a bone china tank prototype. Developed during 2013 /14 after a period of research in Stoke-on-Trent.
