A biannual International Symposium that interrogates how artists and researchers use dialogue in practice.
In Dialogue is a series of interdisciplinary events including presentations, discussions, communal meals, open mic sessions, live music and performance/live art showcases taking place across the city. Our aim is to create a dialogue between the different applications and understandings of the term In Dialogue, considering differences, commonalities, and how diverse approaches to understanding and articulating the theme can lead to new ways of thinking and making.
In Dialogue 2014 will take place across four sites in Nottingham UK from Thursday 2 October – Saturday 4 October 2014. The call for the 2014 symposium is now live, for details and an application pack click here.
The deadline for applications is 19 May.
In Dialogue 2014 is hosted by Nottingham Contemporary (day 1 and 2), Backlit (evening of day 2) and Primary (day 3) and co-curated by Rebecca Beinart, Heather Connellly, Steve Fossey, Rebecca Gamble and Rhiannon Jones.
