Wonderland Be Vocal
Creating disruptive cultures to bring social change
New Art Exchange Thursday 13th February 18.30 –20.00pm

39 -41 Gregory Boulevard
Nottingham NG7 6BE

The Wonderland Project continues its series of open platform debates with a focus on issues relating to children and young people. Over the past nine months, Wonderland has been working with groups of children around Nottingham, hearing their stories and mapping their hopes and aspirations to create a symbolic identity for the city through creative workshops and gathering their favourite music to form a backdrop to the evening.

You are now warmly invited to join the conversation that draws attention on Children’s issues. These range from Health, Well Being, Education, Opportunities, Displacement and Identity. Join our panellists to discuss how we can work together to bring change where it is needed most.

Panellists include:
Cllr Merlita Bryan Lord Mayor of Nottingham
Patricia Barbadillo-Timms Spanish speaking parent
Katya Lamb Home School Parent
Carol Luckwell School for Parent
Rachel Garrett Springbank Primary School

Entertainment will be provided by folk band Sensible Shoes who have put music to the stories that were collected by Chromatic Cultures from Older People about their lives for the last Vocal event in December 2013.

Hosted by Rhiannon Jones & Saira Lloyd. Facilitated by Rhiannon Jones.
