Engagement Curator, PRIMARY
Fee – 5,040 based on 2 days a week for 6 months (pro rata £25,000) subject to further funding
PRIMARY is an artist-led space that exists to support creative research and to develop new ways of engaging audiences. Offering dedicated artists studios alongside more flexible spaces, both within and outside the building, where artists from around the world can meet and work in the heart of Nottingham. PRIMARY is a place where artists and the public can share, experiment and learn about contemporary visual art through an ambitious programme of events and activities.
PRIMARY aims to develop a holistic approach to its programme, including commissions, exhibitions, architecture, interdisciplinary projects, and education activities. We are seeking a dynamic individual who will be expected to research, develop and implement pioneering models for engagement, participation and education, which will form an integral part of the PRIMARY programme and contribute locally and nationally to the development of the PRIMARY.
You will be a person who is highly organised, with strong project planning and time management skills. You will enjoy working with a wide range of people, whilst helping PRIMARY to achieve its full potential.
