PRIMARY is delighted to be participating in our first Heritage Open Day, which is a great way to see buildings which are not normally open to the public. Our building will be 130 years old this year and is Grade 2 listed by English Heritage. It was previously the Douglas Road Primary School, a dance studio and is now home to some of the best artists in Nottingham.

“We all think we know the area where we live,” says Loyd Grossman, Patron of Heritage Open Days, “but for four days in September, Heritage Open Days offers the chance to see places in a new light. Buildings open up, doors are unlocked, secrets revealed. It’s a fantastic free day out for all the family, and a chance to learn about the undiscovered heritage on all our doorsteps.”

We will be open on THURSDAY 12th September from 10am – 2pm…hope you can come and visit
