Recently selected Primary resident artist, Frank Kent has a group of four paintings that began their life in the summer of 2010 at his degree show are now detached from their originally intended exhibition space. They have since been transported and recycled for a number of sites, absorbing content from the various environments that they have inhabited. Primary’s ‘Building Two’ collage emerged out of conversations about a photograph of a painting in Edvard Munch garden that the artist had worked on and abandoned to the elements. There is something about the disused building and the outside space at Primary that resonates with those discussions and the photograph. This work is shown in conjunction with BendInTheRiver exhibition Regrouping.

The installation can be viewed at Primary during WEYA From Saturday 8th- Saturday 15th September 11am-4pm ( closed on Sundays)
